Yes, with shorts they limit the time you can post to keep the videos short. We have 4 thousand tutorials on our channel though, longer more in depth, and a full section of live trainings that are very slow as well. To make your own templates vs using any of our ready made thousands of designs and fonts on site, you'll need software that's rhinestone friendly. We use our TRW Design Wizard paired with Corel Draw (only works in the usa), or for a much simpler software - the Silhouette Business Edition, also sold on site. The stone menu is fairly limited in comparison, but you can get some neat things created with some edit time in Silhouette for sure. Aside from not knowing what software you're using, those few things will get you a start towards designing. Either software you choose, just type inside our channel for the keywords and hundreds of Wizard videos pull up, or full playlists for silhouette. Thanks for watching / commenting. -TRW Crystal

We have kits for beginners on site! www.therhinestoneworld.com/kits To make something like this without a kit - You'll want one of our correctly sized fonts, magic flock, acrylic hotfix heat tape to lift the stones out of the flock template that you cut, a rhinestone brush is useful, hotfix stones (generally size ss10 for our fonts and designs) a cutter, and a press. -TRW Crystal

Essentially, the Siser Easyweed Adhesive www.therhinestoneworld.com/siser-easyweed-adhesive is exactly that. It's just an htv adhesive without the htv. You can try to "season it" similar to cutting mats. Meaning place it and peel it up a few times to calm down the adhesive. Be sure not to leave it on the work surface very long either, the longer it sits, the better it sticks. Or, you can do like Matt has been lately in our Lives and placing it directly onto the disposable cutting boards, and leaving them there to brush in and store both. Cricut presses are notoriously off on temp vs what they're reading out. It's either you need a longer press, or the surface of the ball needs sterilized first to avoid any oily barriers etc. Sometimes several short presses will get the job done vs one long press. Keep in mind how rough a ball is bouncing on concrete, the htv is going to wear. We like things like this as a display piece. What you could do that may be a touch easier, is get some adhesive vinyl, cut it, weed it in reverse to make a stencil, then sponge paint your design or lettering on. -TRW Crystal

That's what Matt calls an insurance press. If you've checked your platen with a heat temp gun and are certain it's accurate, then it shouldn't be needed. -TRW Crystal
